Tune Classes
In-depth teaching and analysis of our jam session tunes and accompanying chords. Demonstrations of melodic and accompaniment styles. A great way to prepare yourself and feel more confident in the jam sessions!
String Ensembles
Learn to play and arrange music with others. Music selections will focus on non-classical styles of music, such as fiddle, rock, jazz and folk music from around the world. Participants will be placed in ensembles with other players of similar ability.

Intro to Improvisation
This fun and supportive class will cover the basics of musical improvisation. The class is loosely based in jazz, but the concepts apply to any style of music universally. No matter what you want to be able to play, this is a great place to start!

String Jams
Learn to play a variety of musical styles in a supportive and relaxed environment. Open to all ages and ability levels. You can find tutorials to some of our favorite jam session tunes HERE.

Open Mic and Ice Cream
St. Louis String Collective’s Open Mic in the last Sunday of each month at 1pm. Follow up your performance with a delicious treat from Boardwalk Waffles and Ice Cream. All ages and abilities are welcome to perform.

Songwriter Meetup
A place for adults to gather and share creative musical ideas without judgement. Each meeting will be an in-the-round style of sharing with all musical genres and styles welcome.
