In this ensemble, students will learn to play and arrange music in a group setting, focusing on non-classical styles such as American fiddle styles, rock, jazz, and folk music from around the world. Students will develop important musical skills including learning songs by ear, improvising, accompanying others, and applying music theory in creative ways. This ensemble encourages collaboration, creativity, and musical exploration in a fun and supportive environment!
Students will be placed in ensembles with players of similar age and ability level.. A minimum of three years of playing is preferred.
12 classes beginning the February 7th

Final performance Sunday April 26th, with additional performances TBA
