Summer Tune Series w/ Sarah Vie

Learn a new tune every Tuesday in June! We’ll be teaching a different folk tune from around the world each week. The tunes are beginner/intermediate friendly and will be taught primarily by ear. Come to one class or all 5! Advanced registration is preferred but not required.

Sarah Vie is a musician and educator in the city of St. Louis. After earning her teaching certificate and a Masters in Music Education from Boston University, Vie has devoted herself to developing the talents of her private violin and piano students and teaching middle school orchestra at Hoech Middle School. In recent years, Vie has played with bands The Leonas and 18andCounting & The Only Ensemble and collaborates with other artists in multiple genres and styles. She is also one of the founders of the St. Louis String Collective.
