Tune Class - String Arranging w/ Sam Golden

$85.00

String arranging takes songs to the next level! It can add a melodic counterpoint, a deeper groove, an emotional peak. Sam will introduce you to this world of creative possibilities by discussing techniques for building layers, harmonizing melodies, and other tools every aspiring arranger can use. Bring your instrument, as the class will serve as a lab for trying out our string arrangements live!

For aspiring composers and arrangers-- string players especially. Some knowledge of reading/writing music is helpful but not completely necessary.

Dates: March 15th, 22nd, and 29th from 2:00 - 3:00 pm

Location: St. Louis String Collective; 3530 Greenwood Blvd

Registration closes Tuesday, March 11th

We will be filming each class and the videos will be made available to participants at the end of the session.
